hello my name is Lauren. For my transition year environmental studies project i had to do a project on something related to geography. I chose skiing as it is a sport that i really enjoy and it is also effected alot by geography. Skiing is a very popular sport throughout the world and is enjoyed by a large variety of people. You can ski in many different counties, all that is required is correct weather e.g snow, and mountainous land. There are different types of snowfall which provide different types of skiing conditions.
